How They Help: Early mental health and wellbeing support
Who It’s For: Children and young people aged 4–18 in Heywood, Middleton, and Rochdale (Greater Manchester)
Overview
Thrive is a free NHS service providing early intervention for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health challenges, including anxiety, low mood, anger, stress, and difficulties with friendships or relationships. Support is delivered through one-to-one sessions, group workshops, and school-based programmes, with guidance also available for parents and carers.
The service aims to prevent issues from escalating by offering accessible, practical, and non-judgemental support in safe, familiar settings. Referrals can be made by schools, professionals, or families directly.
