Childline

How They Help: Free, confidential counselling and emotional support
Who It’s For: Children and young people aged 0–19 across the UK

Overview
Childline, operated by the NSPCC, provides free and confidential counselling, advice, and emotional support for children and young people. Available 24 hours a day via phone, online chat, or message boards, the service offers a safe space to talk about anything—bullying, abuse, family problems, school stress, self-harm, or mental health concerns.

Trained counsellors listen without judgement, helping young people feel heard and supported. Childline also offers a wide range of self-help tools, videos, and interactive resources to help children manage emotions and build resilience.
