Natalie Thompson – LEGO® Therapy Practitioner
Natalie Thompson
LEGO® Therapy Practitioner | SEN Specialist | Deputy Manager | Lead SEND Educator
I am a qualified LEGO® Therapy Practitioner with extensive experience supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). As a Deputy Manager, Lead SEND Educator, and SENCO-qualified practitioner, I am passionate about creating inclusive, engaging, and nurturing learning environments where every child can thrive.
Through LEGO® Therapy, I support children in developing essential social communication, language, emotional regulation, problem-solving, teamwork, and confidence-building skills in a structured and enjoyable way. My approach is child-centred, recognising individual strengths while helping children build meaningful relationships and positive interactions with their peers.
Sessions can be delivered within our inclusive SEND centre, providing a safe, supportive, and sensory-aware environment tailored to the needs of each child. LEGO® Therapy can be offered as individual or small group sessions, depending on the child’s needs and therapeutic goals.
Alongside my LEGO® Therapy qualification, I hold a Level 5 SENCO qualification, NVQ Level 4 in Childcare, Learning and Development, and am trained in safeguarding, health and safety, and first aid. I have extensive experience working with children with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, social communication differences, and a wide range of additional learning needs.
I am committed to helping children reach their full potential through evidence-based, creative, and therapeutic approaches that foster confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
Through LEGO® Therapy, children are encouraged to develop communication, collaboration, resilience, and self-esteem while engaging in meaningful and enjoyable activities.
Sessions available for schools, local authorities, alternative provisions, and families seeking targeted social communication and emotional development support.
