More Than Education
How They Help: I offer specialist SEN tutoring, emotional wellbeing support and therapeutic interventions that help children and young people develop confidence, emotional regulation, social communication and positive engagement with learning.
Who It’s For: Children and young people aged 5–18 with SEND, autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, anxiety, school avoidance, emotional regulation difficulties, social communication challenges and those who benefit from personalised learning approaches.
Overview:
At More Than Education, I provide bespoke educational and therapeutic support designed around the individual strengths, interests and needs of each child.
My approach recognises that learning and wellbeing are closely connected. Many children struggle to access education when they feel overwhelmed, dysregulated, anxious or misunderstood. Through a combination of specialist tutoring, therapeutic interventions and relationship based practice, I help children build confidence, develop emotional awareness and experience success in learning.
I work in a neurodivergent affirming and child centred way, creating safe, supportive environments where children can feel understood, valued and capable.
Support is tailored to each child and may focus on emotional regulation, social communication, self-esteem, engagement with learning, confidence building and developing strategies for everyday success.
Services Offered:
SEN Tutoring
Personalised educational support for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Sessions are adapted to individual learning styles, strengths, interests and EHCP outcomes where appropriate.

A structured intervention that uses collaborative LEGO® activities to develop communication, social interaction, teamwork, problem-solving and confidence. LEGO®-Based Therapy is widely used to support autistic children and young people, as well as those who benefit from structured social learning opportunities.
