Tracy Chadwick

How They Help: Specialist practitioner training in social and emotional approaches — including the popular Lego therapy and The BOUNCE Approach® — plus family coaching and emotional regulation support using trauma-informed, neurodevelopmental methods

Who It’s For: Professionals working with children and young people — including educators, support staff, and practitioners — who want to train in practical, evidence-informed approaches they can use straight away. Also for parents and carers of children aged 2–25 across the UK seeking affordable coaching and support.

Overview

Tracy Chadwick is a social entrepreneur, trainer, and founder of the Child Therapy Service — a UK-based social enterprise on a mission to make trauma-informed practice accessible to every professional working with children and families.

Tracy doesn’t just use her approaches — she trains others in them. She delivers social and emotional learning training that professionals across education, health, and social care come back to again and again, including her consistently popular Lego therapy training, which equips practitioners with the skills to use Lego-based play to develop communication, collaboration, and emotional regulation in children.

As the creator of The BOUNCE Approach®, Tracy has also developed one of the field’s most practical frameworks for understanding children’s behaviour — a six-pillar model integrating attachment, sensory understanding, and nervous system regulation, now available as a full practitioner training programme.

All training is available through the Child Therapy Service Learning Portal — affordable and accessible by design, because Tracy believes that where you work or what you earn shouldn’t be a barrier to developing your practice.

For families, the Learning Portal unlocks something equally valuable: discounted coaching sessions with Tracy, alongside accessible resources to help parents and carers build their own understanding. Because when families have both the knowledge and the support, the impact is far greater than either alone.
