Liz isn’t your typical Occupational Therapist — she supports the parents behind the children. With over 25 years’ experience as an award-winning OT, trainer, and speaker, Liz specialises in helping parents and carers in neurodiverse and additional-needs families navigate burnout, mental health, and wellbeing challenges.

Drawing on her own lived experience as a dyslexic parent within a neurodiverse family, Liz offers neuro-affirming, trauma- and sensory-responsive strategies tailored to each family’s unique situation. Her approach helps parents rediscover clarity, confidence, and connection — creating meaningful moments with their children while remembering their own wellbeing matters too.

Liz is also the host of The Untypical Parent Podcast, a supportive space where doing things differently is celebrated. Through honest conversations and guest interviews, Liz helps parents find understanding, community, and practical ways to thrive — because no one should have to do this alone.
