Overview
The Lullaby Trust provides national, specialist support for families grieving the sudden and unexpected death of a baby or young child. Their helpline is staffed by trained advisers who can offer emotional support, explain post-mortem processes, and guide families through practical steps during an overwhelming time.
They also run a Befriender Programme, connecting newly bereaved families with trained volunteers who have experienced similar losses and can offer true peer-to-peer understanding.
The charity offers separate guidance and emotional support for siblings and other family members, as well as clear information designed to help families navigate investigations, coroner processes and other difficult procedures related to sudden infant death.
