Their free helpline advisers can help families understand what they are entitled to — including DLA, PIP, Universal Credit, Carer’s Allowance and grants — and their online resources include detailed guides on benefits, financial support and managing the day-to-day costs that come with raising a disabled child. Scope also campaigns actively for disability equality and a fairer benefits system, and runs training and awareness programmes to drive systemic change.
