How They Help:
Free emotional support, resources and community for parents who have experienced the death of a child. They also offer wider bereavement support for siblings, partners and families navigating life after loss.

Who It’s For:
Parents across the UK who have lost a child of any age, and adults seeking guidance and connection following bereavement within the family.

Overview
Care for the Family is a national charity providing gentle, faith-informed but inclusive support for anyone dealing with the loss of a child. Their Bereaved Parent Support team includes trained volunteers who have experienced similar grief, offering understanding and peer connection through one-to-one listening, online events and local meet-ups.
The charity provides written resources, videos, podcasts and practical guidance on topics such as coping with trauma, supporting surviving children, handling anniversaries and rebuilding daily life. They also run programmes for those widowed young and for bereaved adult siblings, offering tailored spaces for different types of family loss.
All support is free, and no referral is required.
